For sale In excellent condition is a 18K 1 carat Diamond Ring. Selling due to family needs. 18K Gold ring and 18K white gold bezel around diamond. 1.00 carat. SI2 Clarity. Colour I (looks like a G). No cloud. Eye clean. Clear and sparkly. Solid, heavy ring weighing 5.67 grams. Colour of Diamond is as good as G. A valuation certificate of $12,980 will be included in the sale.
"GIA study of diamond fluorescence:
A study performed in 1997 by the GIA found that the level of fluorescence has no widely perceptible effect on the color appearance or transparency of diamonds when viewed table down (upside down). In the table up position, diamonds of Strong or Very Strong fluorescence appeared to have better color than less fluorescent stones. The effect was most noticeable in the I-K colors."
